Restaurante Mirador Prendas

At our restaurant, Mirador Prendas, we pay homage to Costa Rican roots and the authentic flavor of traditional cuisine. Since our beginnings, we have sought to do more than just provide food — we want to tell a story through each dish. Our traditional wood-fired kitchen brings to life the authentic flavors of Costa Rican cuisine, just like our grandmothers used to make. Our vision is to offer a unique culinary experience where visitors not only enjoy typical Costa Rican meals but also connect with nature and the tranquility of the surrounding landscape. The name "Mirador" reflects our privileged location, where you can appreciate stunning views of the northern Caribbean area, turning each meal into a complete sensory experience. Prepared with local ingredients, from hearty gallo pinto to regional specialties, we blend tradition with creativity, offering both classic dishes and more elaborate options that remain true to our rural essence. We have incorporated elaborate dish options into the menu while maintaining our commitment to providing homemade, healthy food with fresh ingredients from the region. The wood-fired kitchen remains the soul of the restaurant, infusing each dish with a smoky and authentic flavor that recalls our rural roots. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, you’ll feel at home in the warm, rustic atmosphere of Mirador Prendas — where the food is homemade, the air is pure, and the views are unforgettable.

“An oasis of tranquility and nature.”

The staff was very welcoming and always happy to help. The location is incredible, in the middle of the tree. The owner spent the evening talking to us and was very warm. The hotel is huge and the work done to build it is incredible - it truly is a piece of art.
