Just 90 minutes from San José, Mirador Prendas is a hidden mountain retreat easily reached via scenic mountain roads. Located in Horquetas de Sarapiquí, in Costa Rica’s Heredia province. Getting there is all part of the adventure! The lodge is off the beaten path, about 14 km from the town of Sarapiquí.

Mirador Prendas is situated in Horquetas, Sarapiquí (Heredia Province), approximately 12 mi (19 km) from La Selva Biological Station and the Costa Rican Bird Route.
Check-in time: 1:00 pm in the afternoon.
Check-out time: until 11:00 am in the morning.
However, you’re welcome to stay on the property as long as you’d like.
Rates depend on room type and season.
No-show: A penalty of 100% of your reservation amount.
Early departures and late arrivals: No refund will be given for unused portions of the reservation.
Cancellations made 14 days or less before arrival: A charge of 100% of the deposit.
Cancellations made 30 to 15 days before arrival: A charge of 50% of the deposit.
Dates can be modified with at least 3 days’ notice in advance.

There is wheelchair-accessible parking, but the property is not fully barrier-free—guests should inquire directly about specific needs.
There’s a local shuttle service (usually within 5 km for a surcharge).
Allowed, but they must be on a leash and guests are responsible for cleaning up after them. (Keep in mind there are dogs and cats at the hotel.)

Your email address will be used for reservation notifications. A payment of 50% of the total reservation amount must be made in advance, either by bank transfer, SINPE móvil, or credit card. If not paid, the reservation will be automatically ignored and deleted.
To register and guarantee your reservation, confirmation will be sent via email.
